On 7 October, the ecbi Finance Circle held its fourth meeting during the climate change conference in Tianjin, China, attended by delegates from 15 Parties. Farrukh Khan gave a brief presentation on the idea of a Standing Committee on Finance which had been adopted that day as G77 and China position. The question and answer session that followed was lively and very instructive, focussing on the functions which such committee would perform.
